Discipleship Formation at Christ
the King "Discipleship
Formation" encompasses all areas of Christian Education, as well as Bible
and topical studies which assist our growth as disciples of Christ.
 | The
Kingdom Dwellers ministry at Christ the King Lutheran Church follows the Workshop
Rotation Model being implemented in churches across the country. It is based
on solid theology and years of research in the field of education. One
Bible story is explored over a four to six week period, allowing each child to
examine the story in a wide variety of ways. One week the first grade children
may explore the Creation story through food in "Kate's Kitchen;" the
second week they might experience a creation art activity in the "Artist's
Atrium;" the following week these same children could go to the "Theater"
to experience a Creation play or drama, etc. In summary,
it's like Vacation Bible School all year long!! | |
| For
part of the worship service three-year-olds through first graders may meet in
the Artists' Atrium for age appropriate activities. | Kids

Sunday mornings during the education hour between the morning worship services
