Christ the King congregation takes seriously the call of Jesus to reach out to people in need.
Such ministry is coordinated by the Social Ministry Committee of the congregation.

The congregation provides volunteers for "learn.fun," an after-school program a Muessel Elementary School in South Bend.

Members of Christ the King help serve food for people in need at the South Bend Center for the Homeless the fourth Saturday and Sunday each month.

On the first Sunday of each month, non-perishable food items for Little Flower Food Pantry are brought to worship and wheeled down the aisle with financial offerings.

Throughout the year, Christ the King also supports work on behalf of people in need through Souper Bowl Sunday, CROP Walk, Habitat for Humanity, and other ministries.

Christ the King sponsors an annual mission trip to Sunbeam Boys Home in Jamaica and maintains an on-going post-Katrina relationship with Bethel Lutheran Church in Biloxi, Mississippi.

If you are interested in participating in any of these ministries please contact the church office.
