Music is a vital part of the ministry of Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Our music program includes an adult choir and a handbell choir who play or sing for worship on a regular basis. Smaller groups or ensembles are formed from time to time as well. We have many fine instrumentalists who are part of our worship on a regular basis, and our music includes a wide variety of musical styles. The people of Christ the King love to sing...come and sing with us!

Rehearsal Times

Alleluia Ringers: Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30
Choir: Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:30

Choir provides the opportunity for adults to meet together for fellowship and music making. Many fine singers make up Christ the King's adult choir, which sings weekly at alternate worship services.

Alleluia Ringers is Christ the King's adult handbell choir, which meets every Monday evening for some great ringing and fellowship. (Photos below were taken when Alleluia Ringers participated in Downtown South Bend's Holiday Walk)

Instrumentalists often participate in worship, both providing special music and joining in accompanying the Liturgy.

Requiem Choir provides a music ministry specifically for funerals and memorial services. Those who are willing and able to serve on short notice meet in the 45 minutes prior to a service to prepare the hymns and thus provide support for singing the hymns of faith at a time when grieving loved ones may be unable to sing the songs themselves.
