B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers And Sisters In Christ)-
Christ the King's Youth Group for Grades 6-12

We are not your "basic" youth group - we have many different monthly events for all students in grades 6-12! Some of our 2005 events include our Back-to-School BBQ in August, Camping in September, a Halloween Party in October, Bowling in November, and a Candle Light Christmas Party with a Carriage Ride in December.

IMPACT EVENTS

Each summer Senior High hit the road for an adventure!
In July 2003 we gathered with other youth from all over the country for the ELCA National Youth Gathering in Atlanta. Bands, guest speakers, interactive events, concerts, and great fellowship provided the experience of a lifetime. CTK youth grew closer to each other and closer to God.

What's in store for 2004?
JAMAICA!
July 7-14 we will join Peace Lutheran Church from Spicer, MN for a week serving underprivileged children in Spanish Town, Jamaica. There will be worship, vacation Bible school, and various work projects around the orphanage of the Sunbeam Association for Mission. This trip is open not only to high school students 16 and older, but to college students and adults as well. For more information or to join this adventure contact the
Youth Director

And of course there will be another two-day trip to
Cedar Point and Soak City
for all Junior and Senior High Students

When summer hits, join the fun at CTK!

Youth in grades 7 and 8 participate in the confirmation program through the school year on Wednesday nights. Small group activities, service projects, and music aid youth in their spiritual growth and prepare them to participate in the life of the church. Young people are confirmed on Reformation Sunday of the year they are in 9th grade.
