- Adult Sunday School: This group gathers on Sunday mornings for in-depth study and discussion on a range of topics, from Biblical analysis to Lutheran theology to season-specific devotionals. Meets from 9:30 to 10:30 in Room 500.
- Parsing Scripture with Pastor Steve: Join Pastor Steve Schwier each Sunday for conversation about that day’s Scripture readings—including their context, background, and applicability in today’s world. Meets from 10:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. in room 504.
- Wednesday Bible Study: Members come together each Wednesday morning and typically study the same materials as the Adult Sunday School class. Meets from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in room 500.
- Women’s Journey: This multigenerational group gathers on Wednesday mornings for book studies, fellowship, and occasional service projects around town. Meets from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in room 303.
- Women on Wednesday (WoW): Participants get together every other Wednesday afternoon for discussion of various topics from Gather magazine. Typically meets in room 103 at 3:30 p.m.; see the CtK online calendar for specific dates.
- CtK Movie Club: Join us for relaxed conversation about popular Hollywood films and the (sometimes not so obvious) spiritual themes they contain. Inspired by the book Movies Are Prayers by Josh Larsen. Meets one Saturday morning per month; for dates and movie information, click here.
- Other opportunities for adult learning and fellowship occur on a less-frequent basis or at specific times throughout the year. Examples include the CtK Women’s Retreat; Lenten dinner and discussion groups; and educational presentations by speakers from local charities and universities.
