Do you love watching (and talking about) movies? Do you want to form meaningful relationships with other CtK members through relaxed conversation? The CtK Movie Club is starting its next series of monthly meetings, so now is the perfect time to join in the conversation about how films shape the way we see the world.
Using film critic Josh Larsen's book Movies Are Prayers as a guide, the CtK Movie Club will meet monthly to discuss six movies — Groundhog Day (January 2021), Little Women (February 2021), Mrs. Doubtfire (March 2021), Interstellar (April 2021), Peanut Butter Falcon (May 2021), and Babel (June 2021).
The films are not inherently religious (and some are rated R), but they all have thought-provoking messages about how we, as imperfect people, seek to find our place in the world and understand it better.
Simply watch the movie at home, then join the group on the announced date for each month at 10 a.m.
We will be meeting on Zoom until further notice. Please reach out to Josh Weinhold for the Zoom meeting information.
